In addition to framing, all of the parts that go in the walls (known as rough installations) have to be done and inspected before we can start closing things back up. That process is well underway for the North stack. Here's where we were a bit over a week ago.
Recessed paper towel holders have arrived. These will be a step up from the flush mounted ones currently in service which protrude about a foot into the room.
The ceiling was a mess over the spiral stair in the 2nd lounge, so this is our chance to improve it. Note the rough plumbing in the wall going up to the bathroom stack.
The drain/waste/vent (DWV) piping as seen from the 4th floor along with new copper supply. Last week the plumbers were installing the last of the supply stubs for the sinks and bathtubs.
You can see the spot where the vanity will go as well as the recessed medicine cabinet above it.
The tubs are in place. Above them you can see the window opening. To the left is the space for the storage shelves.
Next steps will include wrapping up the plumbing supply, running heating pipes, and getting the rough electrical in place.
