Back Decks get a Sharp Makeover

One of the smaller projects that came up during our renovation campaign is that of the back decks.  We're just about done restoring them and making a few improvements along the way.  I dropped by this morning (on my way to the initial construction meeting for the first two floor public spaces - more on that later) and snapped a few photos.

You can probably tell from the visuals, but everything's in great shape now.  Repainted steel, a few more railing pieces to bring us up to the 42" code, new composite decking that will hold up for a _long_ time.  The new wood replacement doors look really sharp match the original building elevation (and are going to weather seal a whole lot better).  If you look closely at the full view, prior residents of the 2nd back will notice a change.

All 4 back decks restored to a form that will last quite a while.

Left: New composite decking is going to stay in great shape for quite a while.
Right: All new door assemblies give great weather sealing and look really sharp.  Say hi to James' phone.
